Meal prepping…not my greatest strength, but I know that when I do it, I save money and make better eating choices. I also find that when I meal prep, I’m much better with portion controls…which is a major key in healthy eating and weight management. So I’ve been making more of a conscious effort lately to prepare meals ahead of time, and have healthy snacks on-hand more often. It’s been great but one thing that helps me out a great deal  is having the right container! Introducing the Bentgo!

The Bentgo has been so helpful with my meal prepping, because its so each to carry, easy to clean, and it has built-in portion control! So it takes the measuring and guessing out of storing my lunch for the day. I now prepare a large batch of each food group, and all I have to do in the morning is transfer the food into the Bentgo and I’m done!! It’s basically an adult lunch box! It also keeps the foods separate, which I love! I get so annoyed when my fruit touches my pasta or vegetables. So the Bentgo keeps my foods separate, makes portion control easy, and I’m able to transport my lunch with ease! It’s a Win-Win-Win!!!

What do you use to meal prep and carry your lunch?!?! I highly recommend the Bentgo! And they have cute colors if you want to switch it up!   Check them out here!

So the pictured meal is my lunch for today!!! I have some whole wheat pasta with black olives, vegetarian meatballs (LOVE!), roasted broccoli and cauliflower, and mango!!! I have 2 classes to teach today at 8:30am and 5:30pm, so having a good lunch in between is SO important. I’m loading up on carbs and protein to make sure I’m ready for class #2. I absolutely LOVE some roasted veggies. For the broccoli and cauliflower, I drizzle them with olive oil, sea salt, pepper and lemon juice and pop them in the over for about 15 minutes. They come out SO GOOD! What are you having for lunch?! What’s your meal prep schedule?!
